These terms govern your use of joinuncovered.com (including app.joinuncovered.com) and the emails, texts, videos and other services Uncovered Media offers (together, "Uncovered"). Uncovered is a media brand of Fiat Growth LLC ("we", "us"). By using Uncovered you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Using Uncovered

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Use Uncovered only for lawful purposes. Do not try to break, overload, scrape at scale or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
• Keep any information you give us accurate, and do not sign up anyone else without their permission.

Emails and texts

If you subscribe, you agree to receive emails from Uncovered, such as our digest, new-episode and story alerts, event invitations and occasional announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email or on your email preferences page. If you give us your mobile number and opt in, our Text Message Terms also apply.

Our content

Everything on Uncovered, including articles, videos, audio, transcripts, clips, images, logos and design, belongs to Fiat Growth LLC or the people who licensed it to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, watch, listen and share links for your personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts with credit and a link. Do not otherwise copy, republish, sell or build a product on our content without written permission.

What you send us

When you send us something, such as a guest list request, a partner inquiry, a reply in The Room or a comment, you confirm you have the right to share it. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to run Uncovered and, where you have agreed to be published, to publish and quote it with the credit you chose. Do not send anything unlawful, misleading, confidential to someone else, or that infringes anyone’s rights.

Not advice

Uncovered covers technology, venture capital, business and finance for general information and discussion. Nothing on Uncovered is investment, legal, tax or financial advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security. Guests speak for themselves. Views expressed are theirs and not necessarily ours or our partners’. Do your own research and talk to a qualified professional before making decisions.

Partners and links

Some programming is supported by partners, and we say so when it is. Payment never buys favorable coverage or editorial conclusions. Uncovered links to other websites we do not control, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

Uncovered is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that Uncovered will always be available, error-free or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Fiat Growth LLC and its members, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Uncovered. Our total liability for any claim relating to Uncovered is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Changes and ending access

We may change Uncovered or these terms at any time. If we make material changes we will update this page and the effective date above. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
